I can't even begin to express how amazing Nicki was throughout our entire wedding journey. When we first started planning, I didn’t think we needed a wedding coordinator. We had a planner included with our venue, and I thought that would be enough—but oh my god was I wrong!
Nicki exceeded all of my expectations. She has this incredible ability to understand what I wanted and needed without me having to articulate it. From the very beginning, she just got my vibe. Whenever I found myself stuck or overwhelmed with decision-making, she stepped in effortlessly, making executive decisions on my behalf, even when I wasn’t sure what direction to take.
Everyone always says that something will go wrong at your wedding day, but I honestly felt like everything went so perfectly. In hindsight, though, after our post-wedding debrief, I was blown away by how much Nicki was doing behind the scenes. From managing last-minute changes to putting out “fires” I didn’t even know existed, to dealing with guest drama, she handled everything with so much grace and most importantly never let me or my husband in on any of the stress.
One of the most unforgettable moments (completely curated by Nicki) was during our dinner. We were running far behind because of the speeches, and Nicki quickly came up with the most beautiful solution. She had everyone grab the candles from the dinner tables and create a circle around us, turning our first dance into an intimate, magical moment under an olive grove lit by soft candlelight. I remember just standing with my husband in the middle of all of our closest people thinking I couldn’t have even dreamed this up??? It was an idea I never could have imagined, and it was so perfectly executed—and it allowed us to make up valuable time so we didn’t have to change up the rest of the night.
Nicki also had this incredible ability to sense my anxieties and stressors. She stepped in at every turn, offering support and guidance whenever I needed it. Our wedding was in Italy, and not only did Nicki travel all the way there to assist us, but she navigated multiple cultures, language barriers, and family dynamics with such ease.
Planning a wedding, especially overseas, can be overwhelming, and Nicki was there every step of the way to answer all my questions, provide alternatives, and explain logistical challenges. She kept me on track with contracts, timelines, and important dates, which was exactly what I needed to stay sane in the midst of it all!
